Quick ideas using sumac:

  • Mix sumac, chilli and coriander with some yogurt for a marinade for prawns or chicken.
  • Sprinkle fries with sumac, parsley and feta.
  • Make your own za’atar by coarsely grinding 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon each of sumac and dried thyme, and ½ teaspoon sea salt.
